Three Women on a House

THREE WOMEN ON A HOUSE

David Černý adorned the Classical Deym Palace, also a protected building of the Czech Republic, with three statues of women. Each of the statues is shown doing different activities.

Did you know that…

The palace came about through the merging of three mediaeval houses which stood here in the 14th century. Their first redevelopment began in 1702 and was completed when it had a new owner, Count Václav Ignác Deym of Střítěž, in 1721. Its appearance today has been highly influenced by a conversion worked on by I E Palliardi.
